Arintra Secures 1st Position in PMJAY, India

Arintra is the proud winner of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY Start-Up Grand Challenge, a call to action to generate cutting-edge solutions for supporting the National Health Authority, India (NHA).

It is a unique, first-of-its-kind opportunity for Arintra to be a critical participant and stakeholder in implementing AB-PMJAY, the largest government-funded health assurance scheme in the world.

India / Tuesday, Sep 29 ‘20 - Today the Union Health Minister of India and Chairman of the WHO Executive Board, Dr Harsh Vardhan announced the winners of the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Startup Grand Challenge held from 16th – 17th September ‘20. With over 400 startup applications and multiple rigorous rounds consisting of a comprehensive evaluation, a different winner was picked under all seven categories. The award for the best startup in the category of “Maximising capacity of health workforce” was presented to Arintra (HealthCloudAILabs), co-founded by Nitesh Shroff and Preeti Bhargava.
HealthCloudAILabs provides solutions like in-depth patient intake and automates clinical note writing. Empowering non-physician staff by helping them with over 50,000+ clinical entities which include symptoms, conditions, pathways and over 13+ specializations providing coverage for all workflows including new patients, follow-ups, chronic patient and employees checkups.

Evaluation Process

Arintra (HealthCloudAILabs Pvt Ltd.) won in the category ‘How to build and maximise capacities of the health workforce?’ The Grand Jury consisted of Dr Vipul Agarwal, Deputy CEO, NHA; Dr Nachiket Mor, Former Country Director-India, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Dr Ambrish Mithal, Chairman and Head, Endocrinology, Max Healthcare Institute; Dr Shankar Prinja, Professor - Community Health, PGIMER Chandigarh and 20+ senior physicians, scientists, and policymakers. They evaluated Arintra on its innovation, scaling up capabilities, and our innovation of high calibre to scale-up and support NHA in select areas in the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY

Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Grand Challenge saw more than 400 startup applications, and over multiple rigorous rounds consisting of a comprehensive evaluation, our solution was found to be one of the most promising innovations for Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. It is an immense market access program from the federal government of India. Approx 23,000 hospitals are empanelled with Ayushman Bharat.

What’s next

We will provide our technology to the Government of India empowering healthcare organizations by providing in-depth patient intake and automate clinical note writing. Empowering non-physician staff by helping them with over 50,000+ clinical entities which include symptoms, conditions, pathways and over 13+ specializations providing coverage for all workflows including new patients, follow-ups, chronic patient and employees checkups. Thus, providing 500 million people access to greater access to care, higher quality of care and improved affordability of care.

Arintra has also been selected for the Market Access Programme (MAP). Through the MAP initiative, we will receive streamlined support from the Government of India aimed at facilitating greater adoption in the PM-JAY ecosystem.

Looking Forward

So far, we at Arintra have helped providers save 1600+ clinical hours already by reducing documentation time by 40%. Upto 25% increase in encounter volume per provider and over 20,000 hours were spent by physicians verifying the content and building a database of over a million patient cases

We believe that in coming years the healthcare sector will incorporate smart intake reducing the stress in both public and private health systems, currently overloaded by COVID-19 cases.
